Como se fala “já” e “ainda” em inglês?

HI GUYS! Neste vídeo a gente vai aprender como dizer “já” e “ainda” em inglês!  É YET, ALREADY ou STILL?

Resumindo…

Ainda = STILL para falar sobre coisas que ainda estão acontecendo

• I am still working. = Ainda estou trabalhando.
• You are still watching this video. = Você ainda está assistindo este vídeo.
• Does Mary still live in Europe? = A Mary ainda mora na Europa?

Ainda não = STILL ou YET  (STILL vem antes do verbo principal na frase e YET vai no final da frase)

• I still haven’t found what I’m looking for./I haven’t found what I’m looking for yet. = Ainda não achei o que estou procurando.
• I’m still not ready./I’m not ready yet. = Eu ainda não estou pronta.
• I still haven’t packed my suitcase./I haven’t packed my suitcase yet. = Ainda não arrumei minha mala.

Já = ALREADY em frases afirmativas

• I already finished the test. = Já terminei a prova.
• I have already seen this movie. = Já vi esse filme.
• I have already spoken with Brian. = Já falei conversei com o Brian.

Já = ALREADY ou YET em perguntas

• Have you already eaten lunch?/Have you eaten lunch yet? = Você já almoçou?
• Has Gabriel already gone to school?/Has Gabriel gone to school yet? = O Gabriel já foi pra escola?
• Have you already done your homework?/Have you done your homework yet? = Você já fez sua lição de casa?
